The prospects of paper industry, especially the development of

containerboard market, have become a rather hot topic in the market recently. Ms. Cheung Yan,

Chairlady of Nine Dragons Paper (Holdings) Limited (“ND Paper”; stock code: 2689.HK) said in

responding to media enquiries that she remains optimistic about the Chinese containerboard

market as well as the future development potential of ND Paper. Ms. Cheung Yan emphasizes that

she has not sold a single share of ND Paper since the company has been listed on the Main Board

of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in 2006, and has no plan to sell any share of the

company in the foreseeable future.
